Nittoh made lenses for Hasselblad XPan

Hasselblad の XPan は、ボディとレンズが共に富士フイルム（富士写真光機）製造の TX-1/2 と同じと思われてきました。しかし、少なくとも Hasselblad 銘のレンズは日東光学が製造していたようです。

Dpreview に掲載された X1D に関するインタビューで、Hasselblad の Product Manager Ove Bengtson さんが以下のように述べています。

"The lenses are designed by us and manufactured by Nittoh who have made many great lenses in the past, including the lenses for the X-Pan.”

Fujinon 銘レンズにも日東光学製造がありそうですね。

また、Hレンズを X1D で使うにはレンズファームウェアのアップデートが必要で、アップデートができない初期のHレンズは正常に動かないようです。

"Consequently users will need to update the firmware in their lenses to allow them to work properly. Not all lenses have firmware that can be upgraded as early H lenses in 2002 were fixed, but all more recent lenses will be able to be used."

X1D のフラッシュは驚きのニコン互換でしたが、Hasselblad がニコンに協力を要請した様です。

"Nikon agreed to work with us and we are very happy that they offer excellent flash units that will work well with our X1D."

X1D は企画（規格）決定から製品化まで18か月で、それは可動部がないために可能だったようです。
近年の Hasselblad は明らかに迷走していましたが、カメラメーカーとして復活しそうですね。
