Hi there
Patent request 2020-154286 includes seven examples of a 16-50mm f/2.8 and seems to be related to the HD Pentax-DA★ 16-50mm f/2.8 ED PLM AW lens on the roadmap.
Two other patents requests filed by Ricoh Imaging were published on the same day:
1. 2020-154060, which corresponds to the optical formula of the HD Pentax-D FA★ 85mm f/1.4 ED SDM AW.
2. 2020-154288, which seems to be related to the Telephoto Zoom Lens on the roadmap (most probably a 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 PLM SR).

But I wish RICOH to develop 15-45mm F2.8 into a real thing。
